Nordstrom Sale!
I know this is a little late to the game BUT due to Nordstrom’s website malfunction, I still have not recieved ANY of my packages. Whomp whomp. So that made it a little more difficult to do a try on for you guys and show you different looks. (Oh, and them charging my credit card over two thousand dollars, I’m not bitter, just keeping it real with you guys.) HOWEVER, TOMORROW the sale opens up to the public, fingers crossed they restock all the things, I thought I would still share some of my favorites. Things I bought and things still on my wish list. Especially because not everyone has a Nordstrom store credit card and some people DO have to wait.
I really loved everything from the sale this year. Lets face it though, I also really love shopping for fall. Not only is it one of my favorite seasons but this year I get to hide all the baby weight that I have yet to work off. haha.
This first one was a no brainer. I LOVE a good hoodie. Anything thats comfortable that I can just throw on, but still looks like I tried, screams HEATHER – BUY ME. I bought my normal size x-small. Some of the reviews does say it runs short, but I always rock high waisted jeans, so I’m not worried. I just simply love the color and the fact that it’s cinched at the bottom, not just your typical pull over.

OMG THIS NEXT ONE, GUYS, THIS SOLD OUT IN THE FIRST DAY! I am really hoping it restocks because I will definitely be buying the charcoal gray color. I originally order the beige. During the summer I posted a top from Urban Outfitters that was long sleeve and tied at the bottom and it was MY FAVORITE for spring, this reminds me of that. But what I really like about it is you don’t have to tie it. You can wear it open or button it or tie it. It looks so ridiculously comfortable, I am probably going to live in it. I ordered my normal size x-small because some other bloggers said it ran a little big.

Like I said before, I always rock high waited jeans. They are my favorite. They hide all the mom bod I have going on haha. I have always wanted these jeans but I have never wanted to pay full price for them, I try to be stealthy when I can. Once I saw they were on sale, I knew I had to get them. I wasn’t really sure what size to get because the Free People jeans I do have are before baby number two and I was super tiny. Now I wear a size two in Express & American Eagle jeans but they are stretchy. So I took a chance and ordered a 27 (4), fingers crossed they fit! Cause I LOVE THEM. But, if they don’t fit, it may just motivate me to join a gym! lol.

The first thing I think of when fall comes around is BOOTIES. At one point I definitely realized I had too many, and since its such a fall essential I realized I could just sell some. I got rid of the ones that I had for awhile, knowing I would replace them in the upcoming season. Height, shape, heel length are always changing with trend anyway! So why not? These ones are the PERFECT COLOR. The Cognac Suede is the perfect shade of tan/brown. I’ve been looking for these forever. I also LOVE that the heel isn’t TOO big caaaaauuuse let’s keep it real, this mom isn’t a heel mom. The comfier the better actually. I got my normal size 7. But, I couldn’t resist and once you see you’ll know why.

Last year I saw so many Bloggers RAVE about the brand, Barefoot Dreams. They said it was the SOFTEST, MOST COMFY, item you could own. At first I thought, “Do I really want to spend THAT MUCH on a cardigan?” BUTTTTT, this year they did the exact same thing, I knew it must be worth the SPLURG. So I went ahead and got this particular one linked below. I love the fact that it’s longer and has a hood. It’s going to be great to throw on around the house during colder nights. Or even when your out running errands with the kids and don’t want to dress up. Leggings are life in the fall/winter lets be real. This one is a staple. I got the silver-pearl heather color in a size x-small.

Let’s face it, UGG has always made a comfortable shoe. The material is always to die for. Like wearing slippers ALL DAYS and who wouldn’t want to do that? Last fall I found this one slip on loafer pair and thought it would be great paired with anything. Man was I right. I wore them out almost instantly, but they always kept their great shape and color. I knew coming into the sale this year, I wanted to find a pair that looked the same but for a lesser price. I was pleasantly surprised when that actually happened! Knowing I already had a tan pair I loved, I knew I wanted black. Luckily for me, there were actually four colors to choose from! I got the black in my normal size seven. I probably could have gotten away with a six and a half because they did stretch a little but I like the worn in feel.

I use this face wash errrrday. For the past five years. This stuff is no joke, it works magic. My skin has never felt softer, looked brighter, and felt naturally moisturized. Yup, you heard me, I don’t even wear a moisturizer anymore. I go straight from washing my face in the shower, to drying with a towel, and instantly applying my make up. It’s amazing. Therefore, the one thing I know I will always buy during the sale is this, Philosophy Purity. Not only is it an $87 value, it’s on sale for $55 and lasts me an entire year! I LOVE IT! It’s still in stock, so get it while you can.

The second I saw this pullover, I knew I had to have it. It comes in multiple colors, but if you haven’t already noticed, I am neutral person. I got the Gray Bark in an x-small. It reminded me of almost a rose gold color and that is another favorite of mine. I thought it would also look good either dressed up or down. I can’t wait to see it paired with black jeans with some vans or either my new Free People jeans with some knee high black boots. I just know it’s going to be another staple in my wardrobe this fall and winter. AND FOR $25.90, WHO COULD BEAT THAT?!?
V-Neck Pullover
There are another two things I restock up during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, long sleeve tee’s and short sleeve tee’s. They always have them at the best price and the quality always holds up. So my thought is, why not keep up on having great essentials to your wardrobe? This year I got the Ivory Liz Stripe color in the long sleeve. I love the scoop neck this year, as opposed to the higher neckline last year. I got a size small because they do tend to shrink a little when drying. Naturally in the short sleeve, I got white. I am one of those people who seriously cannot buy enough white tee shirts, but at the same can never find one to wear. I’ll never understand it but whatever right? I’ll just buy a new one on sale lol. I also got a small in this because I tend to like my tee shirts a little more loose fitting. #hidethemombod

Obviously I could go on and on with things from the sale that I wanted but I’m a realist. I got what I could and I couldn’t afford to spend much more. These items are however, DEFINITELY WORTH IT! You’ll even thank me next year ;). Let me know if you pick any of them up or even what you think of the post! I had so much fun shopping for everyone who follows me and I even just had fun doing it for myself.
