Mother’s Day Gift Guide

After more than an entire year of simply just living through a pandemic, six plus months of a “stay at home” order and nine months of figuring out school at home; I think it is safe to say ALL moms out there deserve something really great for Mother’s Day this year. So forget the hanging flower baskets, the corny pre-made gift boxes and follow this guide to make her day better than you could have ever imagined. You’re welcome in advance.

Now before we start with the gifts, make sure you have a few bottles of La Marca Prosecco, some orange juice and all the ingredients you need to make mom her FAVORITE breakfast! This step is crucial – Mom does NOT want to have to make breakfast and the champagne really lets her know you are ready to celebrate HER! If Mom doesn’t drink alcohol, get her favorite tea or coffee, it has the same effect, promise.

However, don’t forget to have her favorite bouquet of flowers, already in a vase, placed in the center of the dining room table for her. But if she is anything like me, skip the flowers and bring home and brand new plant. Because… well… they live longer. Once mom has finished eating her breakfast you can start showering her with all the cards and gifts you got for her. DON’T FORGET THE CARDS!!!

Here are a few staples I think would make ANY mom happy. She may not need them all but basically any woman would be happy to receive any of these.

CHANEL CHANCE Perfume
…because what woman wants to have to buy her own perfume?

Lululemon Align Leggings
These leggings are worth every penny. Trust me.

Yeti
She will use this EVERY DAY!

Birkenstock Sandals
Once they’re broken in, she won’t take them off all summer long.

Mapiful
This Map is a staple in anyone’s home. Pick a place that reminds you of her and she will swoon!

Two Indoor Mid Century Modern Ceramic Planter
If she loves plants as much as me and she doesn’t already have them, she needs them.

Fresh Moisturizer
To end the day feeling fresh!

Mama Necklace
Elsa Peretti® Color by the Yard Ring
Because let’s face it, jewelry is ALWAYS a good idea.

Now that you’ve basically nailed Mother’s Day you can relax and look forward to Father’s Day. Don’t worry fellas, it’s only a little more than a month away.
